NorthFace is the new Finnish-Belgium collaboration of Benjamin Van Esser and Anu Junnonen. They combine piano and vocals with electronic landscapes.
Influenced by the nordic movement in music and other artists such as Alva Noto, Murcof and Arve Henriksen, they are discovering new ways to create Nu-Jazz.

During 2011 NorthFace worked in an 'extended' state (NorthFace+). Together with Joop Pareyn (visuals) and Frédéric Braye (sound design) they have been working as Artist in Residence at STUK (Leuven).
